Hi I'm looking for some recommendations for a good instructor in the Houston area. I have a friend who lives in the area and he's really curious to finally try out scuba diving after hearing about it from me.

Unfortunately I don't know any of the shops or instructors in the area and was hoping to get recommednations. The priority is definitely more on quality rather than some quickie course so any input would be great.

Thank you!

Robert

That is the same one that I would suggest in that area, Sea Sports Scuba.

The way you help insure quality is by going to a good shop/instructor AND making sure that you are in a small class. It doesn't matter how good the shop or the instructor is if the class is too large. A five day class with one student is way better than a 10 day class with 12 students.
