Heading to North Myrtle Beach in a few weeks for a vacation.
I wonder what (if any) dive spots are in the close proximity (ship wrecks?).
Has anyone had a great experience with a particular dive shop / charter?
Any other firsthand info would also be appreciated.
Thanks Much....

Just went out for the first time last weekend with Aquatic Safaris in Wilmington to the Hyde and Markham. Really cool wrecks and great people. Probably my best experience dealing with a shop yet. I'll definitely be back. Wilmington is probabably 1:15 to 1:30 drive from North Myrtle. I've heard good things about Scuba Express out of Murrells Inlet, but haven't been with them yet.

You have Coastal Scuba in North Myrtle, but unless you want to dive the Sherman or Barracuda Alley, I wouldn't go out with them. Go to Express Scuba in Murrell's Inlet and get on a charter to an offshore wreck. You won't be disappointed. There are some great wrecks out there and Express runs a top notch operation. If you are intersted in chartering a 6-pack, New Horizons is an option as well.
