Would anybody recommend a good Dive/Hotel package for Cozumel? I am planning on going for 4 nights/3 days in end of January or 1st week of February.

We stayed at Caribe Blu and dove with Blue Angel (owned by the same folks, located next door.) Great people, very easy to deal with, very inexpensive. Search the board and you'll find lots more recommendations.
They'll make any kind of package you want. They charged us $65/night for the room and $55 per 2-tank boat dive. They have a bunch of small 6-pack boats, no cattle boats.

My favorite for an AI dive vacation. There are better bargains and there are nicer hotels, better food, better dive op; but IMO there is no other place that puts it all together as well as these guys do. It just doesn't get any easier.

I stayed at Scuba Club Cozumel in June and it is the best of the hotel/dive operators I have experienced in Cozumel. I was with a group from my local dive shop, and we bought the full meal package. It was a good deal, even tho I don't usually like to restrict myself to any resorts food. I usually like to eat in local establishments.

You are welcome to join our New Years trip to Cozumel. Some of us are leaving Dec. 30 returning Jan 5th although some have to return sooner. Let me know and I can get you details.
I like Hotel Cozumel or if you want to be downtown Casa Mexicana and Dive with Martin is an excellent dive operation.

Thanks for the replies. I sent an email to aquasafari and they gave me a very good price for 4n/3n.
I will email scuba club tomorrow and check the plane tickets.
Melanie. I would love to go earlier. The tickets to Cozumel are like 2x more expensive in the holidays. Moreover, my last day of work is on Dec 30th and I will have plenty of time to travel. I would love to see your pictures and hear about the dive sites after your trip.

Many of the shore resorts are damaged. I really like hotel Cozumel for the all-inclusive stay. Otherwise, Hotel Hermanos Aguilar and diving with Cesar at Dive Cozumel is good. The hotel is right in town and is open. It is also right near the dive shop.
