Simple question, but I can not seem to find the answer anywhere. What is the Pantone color for the red used in a dive flag?

If anyone has a color chart or Pantone # that is used please let me know.

Thanks,

what is a pantone??

Umm, red? Oh yeah, the stripe is white.

One might be surprised how persnickity some companies will get about the colors of their corporate logos and images.

That's where the "pantone" thing comes into play. All colors generate a certain frequency of light wave. When corporate images and things of that nature are being printed, the color of the ink will be specified at "X" with a certain +/- range in absolute color variation.

Of course different printers and papers and runs will change the color. :blinking:
Yes, printers can match, but don't expect to see #185C look the same from different printers much less different papers. And if you do a reprint, the color may not match.
