Ive done a search and my pc just isnt cutting it today,.

Does anyone have the web site for the DEP (or however it is spelled) dive equip insurance people??

i've never heard of them... (that's not saying much) but I would consiter DAN's gear insurance. I think there is a link somewhere on their website.

01...I used to have the insurance with the DAN org...H2O...but I did not like
their lack of customer service at all. It was a pain to get things insured.... filling
out on line only....and if you forgot something and wanted to add it...there was
a fee to do so. I talked a while back to a DEPP rep and he said I could attach an Excel spread sheet of all my equip I keep and that would do just fine.

There are several of us here on the Board who have insured our gear with them. Personally, we have had a policy with them for about 6 years.

The coverage is well-priced and you can personlize it to your own needs. Do you need flood insurance on that expensive video & housing? No problem. For that new dive computer? Again, no problem.

We had the (mis)fortune to loose a wide angle lens on a dive trip in Crystal River. Within a short time of putting in the claim, we had a brand new one in our hands, ready for the next dive trip. So we can't complain about their customer service either. :D
