i am looking to purchase a wrist mounted,air/nitrox dive comp.(one that takes aa batteries,preferably)say300-500$ price range.any suggestions out there?thanx.r.

I've reviews of the Suunto Stinger and Citizen Aqualand computers available here:

Many others out there too. I don't think you will get one with batteries like you ask however the Aqualand has a charging facility and others like the Oceanic Atom allow you to change the batteries easily.
