Does anyone know if Dive Chicago is friendly to diving doubles? I've emailed twice and called twice, but apparently I don't warrent a response. I'm tempted to just not use 'em.

They are supposed to have a new boat this year that should have enough room for doubles. I haven't heard anything from Bob this year. I know the boat they have used in previous years didn't really have the room to don doubles. Once you were able to get them on, you had to step over the back rail to get into the water. Wouldn't have been good with any kind of waves.

Thanks for the info.
I'm just at a point where I said I'd do a trip and I either can use my current set-up or have to break it all down to singles for one day of diving.
It would have been nice to actually been responded to by the owner.

There are some others that do have the room for doubles. Hank, who runs the RV Chicago, has the room. I'm sure the Enterprise up north has room since they do some deeper stuff.

Nordic Diver, RV Chicago, Enterprise, and Mellow Yellow are doubles friendly.

I've not heard anything good about Bob's boat, their website indicated they wern't running anything until mid season when their new boat is supposed to show up.

When are you going out...? I'm tempted to get some diving in....

Yeah, me too. I'll be out w/N'Pursuit June 4, looking to book some more trips.

Well, it was supposed to be the 21st but I guess that won't be happening. I'm game for the big lake anytime I'm not working if ya had something in mind. Who's running trips yet?

Just show up with the doubles, worst case scenario you gotta hold em in your lap for the ride out. :eyebrow:

I'm putting one togeather w/NPursuit June 4 and am one diver short, and iowasnowboarder is doing one out of Waukegan w/Enterprise Marine on June 11 and is 2 or 3 short.
