My LDS has their annual getaway weekend August 3-5 at Turquoise Lake. For divers it's $69 and includes 2 nights of a campsite, full-course bbq dinner on Saturday, one tank w/ weights, and a chance to win prizes in the clean-up and treasure hunt. Non-divers are $49.

Not included: tent or trailer, meals and beverages other than Saturday bbq, and rental gear.

If you are interested, check the Underwater Phantaseas (Lakewood) website @ www.uwphantaseas.com or call them @ 303-988-6725

I went last year and had a good time despite the limited visibility.

Sounds like fun. What does $50 get the non-diver? I'd consider going and bringing the family, but $170 for my Family to camp, and eat BBQ seems a bit steep?

I think this falls on the same weekend as the Scuba Retailers bash at Aurora.

Ron,

The only difference between the diver price and non-diver price, besides the $20, is the tanks, weights, and ability to win prizes. Everyone who pays gets the BBQ, and a camp site.
