Dive buddy needed for Monterey Sept 16-19

Hi,
I am looking for buddies to dive the Monterey area Sept 16-19. I would love to see the Point Lobos area and anywhere else interesting. I am very comfortable shore diving in SoCal and a photographer. I also dive for the Long Beach Aquarium. Any recommendations for a boat dive would be great as well.

I'll be happy to make reservations, but can I just make up a buddy name and change it when I get there? How many dives can you make there a day? How long do people normally stay?

First off, I didn't look at the calendar before responding: mid-week spots often don't fill so a reservation may not be needed after all.

You might get away with putting TBD for the second diver if you add a note and/or call Jocie and let her know what you're up to---she's very nice and helpful (I met her yesterday at the entrance)

The gate opens at 8am...I'm not sure when it closes...sundown is likely. I'm tuckered after two dives, but there's no limit imposed by the park, just your stamina, the NDL's and park hours.

Thanks for the info. Just to be sure I went ahead and booked a couple of guided dives with Seven Seas for Monday the 16th. The rest I guess I will play it by ear as the dates get closer.

Are there any boats that run on Tuesday or Wednesday?

I also looked into the Beach Hopper II for Tuesday Sept 17th. I'm signed up and hope there will be enough people to run when the time comes.
