I am itching to get back in the water and get a dive in. If anyone is available and interested in doing a couple Cape Ann shore dives Thursday or Friday, please let me know!
About me: I just got my advanced certification, I'm studying aspects of marine life at school and I like poking around seeing what cool creatures I can find on a dive.
Let me know if you don't go today. I may try to join you tomorrow.
I went out yesterday afternoon to Nubble. Around 1:00, had just wrapped up last conf. call of day. As was working from home on porch, noticed no wind. For kicks, looked conditions (winds 5-10 knots sw, seas 1 foot or less).. The tanks were filled so off I went.
What a good decision. Sure enough, when I got there, it was a lake and you could see the bottom from the rocks. Woohoo! Vis was about 30 feet.
bottom time 63 min, water temp 39-42
So want to get back out again.
If you want to see cool sea life, need to go to Nubble. It's worth the drive. Cool northern red anenomes (sp?)
Tomorrow PM looking better over today.
