yeah im all hooded apart from a few days a year where the sea temp is enough to allow a shorty!! which aint a regular occurance!!! as for hearing it you have no problem!! i wear a 3 mil titanium dry hood all year round and have no problems at all, if you wear a wet hood just punch a small hole near the ear that will solve your problem!! it will also help with equilisation.
they also atract dolphins and numerous other fish life such as bass which is great if your into catching your own supper, you only have the wine to pay for wicked eh !!!
