Does anyone know anything about a diving accident near the Marine Museum and the Alexander Henry in Kingston on Wednesday August 21st at about 3:30 PM? A male diver in distress was pulled onto the shore by bystanders, who started CPR. Paramedics took over and he was transported to hospital. We have heard that the man did not make it. Does anyone have any information about this?

I also would like to see the info on this. It seems that the lines of communication in this area (geographically speaking) are always slow to report incidents. We do however get all the info we need on the Kardashian Twits!!! Heard of an incident that supposedly took place at Schemerhorn's Landing this past weekend involving two female divers. However have yet to find any facts or articles on that one either.

Hi ajtoady, on this side of the border, there is usually a lot of disclosure about dive accidents in order to learn from them. Unfortunately, this is the fourth incident the Ontario Underwater Council is investigating this year, but the incident reports for the last 34 years in Ontario or of Ontarians can be found here if you scroll down by year: Ontario Underwater Council

If anyone knows anything about this accident, please PM me or post here if you can. Thank you.

The OUC Incident Report has been published. Some information has been withheld until and unless it can be corroborated. The Incident Report regarding this accident can be found here, Incident #3 and Appendix #3: http://www.underwatercouncil.com/dow...nt_reports.pdf
