I'm a Fish!
A forecast on international tourism by Oxford Economics predicted that tourism won’t reach 2019 levels again until 2024, due to the coronavirus crisis. The same report forecasted a drop of 59% in inbound travel to the Caribbean. And the dive industry was also hurt badly.

While, comparing to the international travel, the domestic tourism seemed relatively less impacted. In some regions, scuba diving operators even witnessed a boom in their local scuba diving activities. Local and inland scuba diving saved numerous dive centers so far this year. It might be one good thing coming out of this coronavirus pandemic.

The COVID-19 crisis brings challenges to different businesses. Everyone tries the best to face the challenges ahead. In the long run, some people also worry about the climate change, ocean warming, ecological conservation and restoration. With so many challenges and changes happening, what will scuba diving be like in the coming years?
