I'm getting back into diving after a 25 year layoff. I have a very novice question to ask regarding dry suits. Please don't attack me in your response by saying I should know all about this and practice it each dive, yadda, yadda, yadda....I just need advice.

If you disconnect the lp inflator hose on a dry suit, will water enter the suit? I have a new DUI suit if that matters.

I want to try this underwater so I can be prepared if I need to disconnect it but I don't want to get wet. I don't have access to warm water to practice this.

Thanks for your help

your suit will not flood if you disconnect the hose underwater

Nope.....unless you push the button with the hose disconnected, then water will enter the suit.

Thanks for your help. I didn't expect it to flood but I thought a little stream of water might enter until I reconnected the hose.
