I was wondering if all yoke to din adapters are universal.
I see diveinn has a sweet deal on one made by Mares....now the question is I would like to use this on an Apeks...is this possible or is not going to work cuz maybe threads not the same fit??

I wouldn't think it would matter what brand of adapter you are using. The threads should be universal, because the DIN threads should fit any DIN tank. Mares vs. Apeks shouldn't be an issue.

While the threads for the DIN part of the tank are standardized, the O-Ring/ thread into the regulator is NOT. I have yet to see any of them work across manufacturers. THAT would only make sense... :tease:

Lemmesee, the title is DIN to yoke, but the first sentence is yoke to DIN

If you’re talking a DIN to yoke converter like what’s pictured in the top right corner of this page, yes, it’ll fit any DIN reg and allow it to be used on a yoke valve…

Those Din To Yoke fittings are awful, I have one and used it a few times, hated it kept bashing my head on the first stage and it always leaked air!!

Instead I went and spent $80 and picked up the Yoke attachment for my first stage.
As my tanks are DIN and I prefer it, but if I am going on a OS Trip I just swap the First stage over from DIN, to the Yoke setup. Takes 10 minutes to do with a Alan Key and a wrench.

I assumed you wanted to buy the piece that converts a yoke regulator into a DIN regulator. If so, then my first response is correct. If not, you may be looking for what Roak pointed out. So is your current reg a yoke or a DIN setup? Of course, as Sydney Diver pointed out... they do tend to smack you on the back of the head. I do a full conversion of mine if I am switching from DIN to Yoke... or I use a different reg.

NetDoc once bubbled...

The first stage is 300bar din and I want to use it on a tank valve that uses only yoke so I will need a convertor....and roakey you are right on with the pic at Northeast Scuba.

The Irony I just ordered a couple of things from there yesterday:)
