Sharky, what kind of conversion are you talking about? He's taking the yoke connection off the first stage and replacing it with a factory DIN. It's exactly the same as if he'd bought DIN in the first place...

Now you can dump the pro-valve on your tank and just put a 300bar DIN on it so your regulator screws in all the way!

you know, someone at work told me they had that problem but i already owned the tanks and the valves for a few months. How bad is it? and if its soo bad then why do they still sell them and i havnt read alot of complaints online about them?
 
Oh, it's not bad. I've done a number of dives this way. It's actually designed to work fine like this. I just felt funny seeing my regulator screwed in halfway! :)
