Dimension i3 - What is this feature?

My new Dimension i3 has a small string loop with an attached plastic pull (It looks like a mini-valve dump) on the left hand side behind the weight pouch. Can someone tell me what it's for? It doesn't appear to be attached to anything, and I can't figure out its function.

Its actually the protective cap/cover for the i3 Schrader(sp?) valve...AKA: the little silver doohickey where your low pressure inflator hose attaches. The string is so you don't lose the cap. Just put it back on when you finish diving.
