I posted a few short video clips in my gallery that I took recently with my Sealife DC500. I know nothing about digital video editing. Are there any cheap and easy ways to edit video files for color and contrast, similar to using Photoshop to edit digital photos? Thanks.

my digital cameras all had a simple editing program included in the package...maybe you already have something?

If you want something better I would suggest Photoshop elements. Lots of power in a
$50-100 program. (I bought my last elements thru Amazon for 50)

upps...missed that
I just purchased pinnicals (SP?) Got the 9th version for $15 on ebay...does fine work

If you want an Adobe product, there's Premiere Elements. It's well under $100 on Amazon. Or Sony's Vegas for about $80. Pinnacle Studio is another option, but at least for me it had some problems till about the .4 release.

You should be able to use the "windows moviemaker" it's free with Win XP. You can do basic adjustments to bright/contrast, etc. with that. Its VERY basic though.

THANKS! I didn't know that was on my computer! It may not be able to do what I'm looking for with the colors, but it does have editing features like shortening videos and adding them together. Very cool.
