what is the cheapest i can get by with spending for a digital movie camera and housing??

It doesnt have to have every bell and whistle....just .... on... off... zoom would be nice but not required....

JVC makes a UW housing for their Mini DV camera for about $350 to $400 (on Line). The DVm 70 or 50 camera fits this housing and take good UW videos. Try Ebay for the cheapes prices. Good Luck. :scuba:

I can't recommend the camera - but if you look at the Aquatix video camera housing "Aqua-cam", you'll find that it is one of the least expensive (if not the lowest priced housing) available. Additionally, by using this type of housing, you leave yourself open to almost any choice of digital video camera (or analog for that matter).
