Buy from Scubatoys...i just grabbed an Atom 2.0 from them and their customer service was excellent!

Plus they are an authorized dealer and have the most competitive pricing around.

3. I am 28 and I will use this strictly as a dive computer, not as a watch. Has anyone around my age (or younger) had trouble viewing the Atom? Has anyone purchased the larger VT3 or older VT Pro and regretted not buying the smaller Atom/Epic lines?
Unless you need reading glasses, you'll probably be fine. My 36 y.o. buddy has an Atom 1 and loves it. Never heard a complaint about the size of the text.

Me, I'd get the VT3 for the larger size anyway, because it seems more advanced and I like having more info on the main screen (thus needing fewer screen changes underwater). If you don't intend to wear it as a watch (G Shocks are better anyway) I see no reason not to get the biggest possible screen.

Ive got about 4 of the nicer Casio watches and nothing comes close to looking near as cool on my wrist as the Atom 2.0.

It is a very sweet watch! Only one id take over it is possibly the Suunto D9. As fr the computer the Vt3 and the Atom 2.0 are the exact same thing.

My wife has the Vytek (same exact size as VT3) kinda cumbersome as when your done diving it will need to go into the Dive bag and then you have to constantly "watch" your bag as you have a $1000 computer in it. With the Atom, its always on you.

The Casio is a WATCH. With ALL associated WATCH functions. The Atom 2.0 is not. I'm not discussing looks, because there are zillions of watches that I think LOOK way better than an Atom 2 as a WATCH, but to each their own. (Yes, the Suunto D9 is a different story, but I loathe Suunto computers, so that's not the question.)

The VT3 and the Atom 2.0 have the same features, but the screen size makes the VT3 easier to read, no matter how good your eyes are.

I have $6k+ worth of dive gear in my dive bag at any given time, not to mention photography gear, so worrying about the computer getting stolen over everything else is not really a consideration when choosing a computer.
