If you're really keen to know the details I highly recommend this book:

Regulator Savvy (Spiral Bound)

Good investment, even though it's much more information than you're looking for at the moment

There is no such thing as to many diving books. Do you know how it compares to Oxyhacker? Google Vance Ha ha ha ha ha. Thanks Emil.

I don't have the Vance book yet, but the consensus of opinion seems to be that Reg Savvy is more about how regs work versus how to rebuild them (OH), although OH apparently contains some great workarounds especially regarding special tools. I look forward to reading OH in the near future

Meanwhile RS is great, very thorough, good diagrams - a lot more than I had expected from an "amateur" reg book, very professional
