difference between new and old transpac

Besides the sizing, what is the difference between the new and old transpac?

I have no idea. I bought new shoulder straps and cummerbund for my TransPac II, and they sent me straps and cummerbund for the new TransPac. They worked just fine.

Yours is the old one? If so, does the shoulder harness attach back at the plate or to the waist belt?

At the plate at the top, and at the cummerbund with metal plates (forgot what you call them), at the bottom.
