Difference between a 2004 Aqualung legend LX and today's model?

What does "sealed" mean?

Sealed means the water does not come into contact with the internals of the regulator. On an Apeks regulator a US4 can be converted to a DS4 by adding a few parts. I am sure Aqualung works the same way.

Thanks for all the input. Bought a used Legend LX (new in 2011) for a great deal. Now what may shock you is that I bought it as a back up regulator ro have in my bag. The primary setup will be my new Edge TI Extreme. (well it probably wont stay in my bag as my son's girlfriend needs a good reulator so I'll let her use it but its there if I need it).
