I'm a Fish!
The High School (Homewood Flossmoor) my son goes to now, and my oldest went to last year, received the Blue Ribbon award. They will be honored in Washington, D.C. in October.
I would like to know who else from the board, is in a school district that received the Blue Ribbon Award.
Please check the list.
Thanks!

My high school was a blue ribbon school when I was there. I guess its gone down hilll since I left! ('96)

I'm not sure how much that helped me with getting into colleges though... (Of course I only applied to 1)

Congratulations!

Nope, my kids schools & my old school were not on the list. The only braggin' rights I got is that my alma mater, Prospect H.S. football team won state last year. It was a pretty big deal.

It's the Platinum Ribbon and it's a contest of all the Blue Ribbon Schools.
Cassidy High School here in Good Ole OKC is a winner of the Platinum Ribbon and that is where Mark and Jamie (yes, my children) graduated from. Mark is an EE and works for Lockheed Martin and Jamie is a Comptroller for Kraft Foods.
As you can tell I am very proud of these two rugrats.
