Its comming soon and it is going to be great. DI? will be revealed soon. The question mark will be replaced with a letter. R and S are taken, so that leaves only 24 possibilities.

This approach to diving will be primarily, but not entirely, aimed at recreational divers. It will make some people happy, some mad and others will ROFLOL.

Those of you who know where I am comming from can make an educated guess as to what this will be like. Be forewarned, this is not associated with the usual April 1 activities of which I reserve the right to partake separately.

Doing It PADI?

Hmm, can't be C for Correctly, otherwise there would be all these DICs going around diving, and there's enough of those already :out:

How about "DIA"--Doing It Antidir?

Just out of curiosity, what flavor of Kool-aid will you be serving? :)

You've lost me...

What are you talking about? Is there going to be some major agency annoucement on April first? Who is making an announcement?

I think I must have missed something:confused:

I think DIC is correct. That way you are not just right, you are correctly doing it. Or is that the same thing? Would only males be allowed to participate? Would a female have to get extra equipment to fulfill the requirements of DIC diving? OMG... Now, I got it, it's for females. Males would have to pass certain gag limits to become certified. Would there be a DIC-F class? Fundamentally DIC. It must be really late, or all this CNN in my ears is driving me nuts. Actually, I am already nuts. What do nuts have to do with DIC Diving? Do you have to be nuts to be DIC? Or do you just have to have them? Will you need a 7" hose for your primary regulator? What about your octo? Do you wear that wrapped around your neck like a circus act? One requirement will certainly be P-valves in your dry suit. You can't be DIC without a condom. Does your dive buddy grab your 7" primary or the longer circus act? And the big question, does he swallow the liquid that gets in the primary as you share it or does he spit it out?

I think there should be an addition of letters to form

DIHEYW

Any takers?

:D

PADI, SSI, NAUI, and the rest won't ascribe to that because they couldn't control your activities anymore. That would have to be a separate organization. I think DAN would still cover you. After working with two of the top three, I would be happy to DIRHEW.

Get this SSI Nitrox: $175
TDI Nitrox: $75
Does anyone know if I can take the TDI Nitrox class and still get my Certificate from SSI for my AOW? Or is that too DIHEW for them? LOL

That is in the eye of the beholder. To someone that is committed to a system that places a lot of emphasis on uniform gear configuration slight variations are viewed as major departures thus resulting in long debates on such trivial topics like whether we should have pull dumps.

I agree leadweight, I was just generalizing to be somewhat funny:D
