Just wondering if anyone has had one of these for awhile and if so, how do they stand up? Looking at the specs, it seems like they have a pretty heavy shell, but a thin bladder.

DGX Gears Single Tank Wing

I have one for about 2 years now. It's seems fine. It's just a rebranded Dive Rite Travel EXP.

@seeker242 What material is the bladder made of?

If memory serves me right these are dive rite wings rebranded as DGX. Dive rite makes good products but they are unique so people either love them or hate them. It is small deviations from the industry norm such as cross hair instead of a solid Centre panel and staff.

@seeker242 What material is the bladder made of?

On their website they say:
heavy-duty 210 denier nylon laminated bladder.

What I am wondering is, how does this compare to other wings? My Halcyon wing is supposed to be a 400 denier bladder with a 1000 denier shell. The DGX wing has a 1680 denier shell.

Which is better, a heavier shell or a heavier bladder? My guess would be a heavier bladder....

What I am really wondering is how well will the DGX wing stand up to the rigours of travelling?

You wont find any wing for $200. I think its an incredible value. I'vehad dive rite wings in the past and they are very good. This one is made in the same factory. I wouldnt hesitate to buy it for the price. VDH also has excellent wings for the money.

I am not sure if any wing is popular anymore. Years ago if you wanted a single tank wing your choices were limited to Halcyon, DSS, Oxycheq, and maybe OMS. Now everyone makes a single tank wing so the market is fragmented.

For most divers most wings are robust enough. If you are diving in challenging conditions then you could always go with a Dive Rite XT or an Oxycheq Extreme wing.

For bladder material you either have a (poly)urethane or a coated nylon. Personally I prefer the coated nylon. If urethane the thicker the better. For coated nylon, I am not sure. @tbone1004 works in the textile industry so he is a expert in this area.
