hi,

Just wondering if people use dessicant/pads in their Ikelite housings? Its not mentioned in the manual, so not sure if its ok or not...
Cheers
Marcus

Absolutely - the dessicant could never do any harm and is present to absorb any small trace of moisture inside the housing that could cause the inside lens surface to fog at depth.

it will also protect your camera from getting destroyed it is an electrical device and moisture "is" water and the two dont mix.

I don't have an Ikelite housing but I don't think it matters. I use dessicant all the time. My favorites are the ones I can dry out and reuse. They are 2 the Gram Non Dusting INDICATING Silica Gel Desiccant Paks from Preserve Smart

i am using the same ones as dee there the cheapest around and you can recharge them
