Has anyone stayed in the Wahoo Suite at Den Laman? Any feedback on the unit? Condition, location in the building, view or lack of etc. Any info appreciated. Thanks....

J and I stayed there one week when they gave us a deal - we had wanted a 1 BR but they were fully booked, offered us Wahoo for little more than the 1 BR rate. We definitely enjoyed the spaciousness of the 2BR and the second bathroom - it would be great for 2-4 people to share.
The balcony is on the side of the building and it's not so pretty, but you can see the ocean from there. Condition was excellent when I was there. Only flaw was a little leaking around one bedroom window during a bad rainstorm. That was several years ago, however, but I was very impressed by the immaculate condition of the units both times I stayed at DL, especially when compared to the condition of some of the rooms at Buddy or Capt. Don's.

Thanks for your input... I am thinking the best bet is to just stop in and take a look... I have been entranced with that area for quite some time... Den Lamen has been my condo building of choice for a few years now ... so yes Jersey - I have been watching it and would love to jump... my hubby has spotted a newer place up by Oil Slick that he is interested in though... so the debate continues 
The only drawback with the Wahoo suite is the view in my books... I love to get up in the morning and drink my coffee with the ocean in clear view...

Good luck Snowdiver! I watch as well, looked at a bitty one bedroom last year near Oil Slick. I'm saving my pennies and playing the lottery in the hopes of picking up Villa Salentein (www.villasalentein.com - white villa/blue tile roof right on the water) someday!

That's why I'm leaving "lovely, scenic NJ" in 12 days to be back on Bonaire for 2 weeks. Can't wait!!!

You go! Be sure to write a trip report and updates. Who knows? Maybe I'll hit that lottery and Snowdiver will have bought the Wahoo suite and we can all meet up and have a cold one! If not I think I'm at 40 day countdown...not sure I can make it...
