Seems like a pretty good deal on the studio for 2 at den laman. Wanted to do buddy dive, but this seems like a good deal. Is it twin double beds? Would like to take advantage of that good airfare deal going on. This would be my second trip to bonaire and my buddys first. Stayed at divi the first time and was thoroughly unimpressed witht the accomodations.

Never stayed in the studio, always the 1bedroom on the 3rd floor, wow!! what a view of the reef, awesome sunset etc. :D Check with the 800 number for the info on the studio. I know it is on the first floor.

No real view that I am aware of on the studios
They are on the back side of the building overlooking the parking area.
A couple may have a side view!

One of the couples on our trip last week stayed in a studio (condo 3P to be exact) and I *think* it was a queen size bed. And yes, they're on the back side overlooking the parking lot/dive shop.

If you'd like a better look here's a great website with pictures of every unit. We stayed in 3M with an ocean front view and it was LOVELY! http://gotobonaire.com/denlaman/index.htm

shoot!---Guess that answers it---no seperate beds until you get into a 2 bedroom--crapola!---any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure you can get a rollaway bed. As long as you don't exceed the maximum occupancy of the unit, you can have a rollaway. Give them a shout or e-mail to double check.

Unit F is considered a studio, but is actually a very small 1-bedroom, ocean view room. It would be too small IMO for a rollaway bed, but for a couple is pretty decent. We found it a bit tight for a 2 week trip, so now stay in a 1-bedroom ocean front. ;)

Just returned Sunday from 8 nights at Den Laman. 2nd time there. In August stayed in one of the studios on the 2nd floor. One queen bed. There was also a single bed in our unit that we used for camera equipment. But be aware the studios are rather small for more than 2 and don't give much room. Although on the back of the building, one nice thing - you can pull your truck right under the balcony and haul your gear right up!! That was great!

This past week we stayed in a two bedroom the first night (our room was not available) and then the 1 bedroom the next 7 nights. The one bedroom was fantastic! 3rd floor oceanfront! It also has a queen bed. No room for another bed in the bedroom but definitely in the living room you could.

The staff at Den Laman is attentive and wants to ensure your happy. They called me before our trip to let us know about the double booking the first night, offered us the 2 bedroom and a nice bottle of wine for our trouble. I also asked them to get a rose for Valentines day. Not only did they get a DOZEN roses, but they took care of the bill for it as well! Highly recommend the condo.

Only issue with Bonaire Dive & Adventure is they lock up Nitrox tanks at 4:30pm and regular tanks at 9:30pm and don't open until 8:30am. So if you want tanks for night diving or next day, you have to ensure you get them in time. Other than that, the dive operation runs a pretty good show.

Scubaradu

do you remember the name of your unit on the second floor--the studio?----if there is a queen and a single we are good to go--I will ask for that unit by name---

Thanks for that link, particularly with the photos, there is much more to see on there than Den Laman's own site.
