Demo Day is one of our most popular events. Each year this event draws divers from around the region. Many come for the chance to test the latest gear or for the opportunity to ask questions directly to the manufacturers. It's a great way to see what's new in the world of diving.
This year Demo Day will again be held at the Audrey Moore Recreation Center Pool in Annandale Virgina, about ten minutes away from The Dive Shop. Having Demo Day at a pool allows non divers to participate in PADI Discover Scuba Diving sessions. will have the chance to get in the pool and experience the excitement of diving first hand. Meanwhile, certified divers can visit the many Dive Equipment Manaufacturer displays to see the latest cool dive toys. Even better, you & your buddy can borrow equipment and give it a try in the, just a few feet away. This is a great way to "try before you buy".
The Admission Fee for Demo Day is $3/person for advanced purchase at The Dive Shop or $5/person at the door.
Admission for kids under 12 is free.
The Discover Scuba sessions are $10/person per session.
Discover Scuba sessions are open to Non-divers age 12 and up.Liability Release & Medical Statement required.

Notes:
- Participants need to bring a complete set of Open Water equipment if they wish to dive.
- Parental supervision required for all children at all times.
- Need rental equipment? We can help. If you've not yet rented equipment from "The" Dive Shop, stop by earlier in the week so that we can size you correctly. Once we have your size information on file, you can make rental arrangements over the phone.
- Demo Day is an unsupervised event; we do not provide dive leaders for this event.
