Today at Dema multiple manufactures announced that they will cease to manufacture traditional (jacket/vest) style bcd's for liability reasons. An industry spokesman stated that in order to increase the safety in the industry all manufactures will be focusing on producing BPW designs only.

I presume if this will even occur it will be a game of chicken. It will be interesting to see who will stop making theirs first, then the remaining manufacturers can laugh and say "SIKE" as they rake in more sales!
