We are planning a trip to Maldive in Dec and have found lots of helpful info here on the SB. We are thinking about exploring the "deep south" after doing a LOB in the central area. Here are our two options:
1) A "deep south" LOB: e.g Horizon III has an itineraray Addu-Fuvahmulah-Addu
2) Land based dives in Fuvahamulah with a local dive shop, including repeated daily dives at "Tiger Zoo".

We like the idea of a week of land based diving after our "best of Maldive" LOB, but also want to make sure we don't miss anything significant in the south while we are in the area.

Any thoughts/experience/wisdom to share between the two options?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sue

I'm also considering the same option like you, and at the moment, I'm more to Land-base, as I heard that Tiger Zoo diving is actually should be done by a local land based dive center, so they take charge of it even though you dive with LOB.
