deep six excursion port orientation?

I'm considering the Excursion regulator set.
I can't tell from the pictures what sort of port orientation it has.
Is there a drawing available on the site that I'm missing, or a photo showing it from the 'head' side? Or maybe better yet, a photo showing an actual long hose set-up installed on a tank?

I guess ultimately what I'm trying to figure out is what hose lengths will work well, and how they'll lay...how it'll look

I'll set it up as a 7ft long hose, single tank
My LPI is set up for a shorter hose, my existing reg has a 22-inch
What length works well for the short hose?

and a side question: Is the "DIN Housing" I see listed on the site for $100, the kit to convert a yoke reg to DIN?
I'll prob order the yoke reg since I'll mostly be diving rentals, but if I recommission my old HP steel tanks I'll want to set them up as DIN most likely

Buy the DIN, use a yoke adapter if needed.

Simple reason. You can easily adapt din to yoke. You can't adapr yoke to din.

yeah, that's what I was doing. and I'm still tempted to do it again with my new regulator.

The only real negative for me anyway, is that it just makes the regulator assembly longer (putting the whole thing closer to your skull)

of course there's and argument too, that the adapter is just another o-ring seal that is another potential failure point. Yes, true enough, but for recrational diving I don't see that as such a big concern.

I recently asked about this in another thread and it seems that DIN rental tanks are more common than they were when i was an active diver.... but generally it seems that it's a less reliable approach to count on.

So that's why I was leaning towards just keeping it simple and set everying up for yoke. (even my tanks, using DIN valves with inserts
And then maybe converting the regulator to DIN if I ever get into doing some more challenging dives again.

Best solution I've found, din tanks, have the yoke adaptors available if you're not sure what's available shenen you travel. Rdgs- all D I N.

1 HP and 2 LP ports per side, triangular pattern. See picture below.

Most people use 24" or 22"

No, that is a place holder for a part for Signature regs. The Signature conversion kit is a seperate item labeled DIN (or Yoke) Conversion Kit. We don't have a conversion kit currently listed for the Excursion.

Long hose + Yoke will be an interesting setup.... I would suggest DIN, and the Signature 1st stage if going with a long hose setup, so you can take advantage of the 5th port for optimal hose routing.
