At Dema, Deep Outdoors unvieled what appreared to be a beautifully constructed, well designed back mounted
BC named the Neutrino. It is a minimalist BC with 18 pounds of lift with a bladder that is sewn directly to the jacket. The jacket is a Deep Outdoors single tank harness with weight integration, appearing to be quite comfortable. What is unique about this system is that it is not over-kill, in attempting to put on unneccessary bells and whistles that are so vogue these days. It simply defines it's intended usage as a travel, or warm water BC
that is built to be extremely durable and comfortable.

We had a problem with a Deep Outdoors gear bag we purchased. Things happen. About a month or so after the purchase I tried to speak with them regarding the problem at the Beneath the Sea Expo and they couldn't be bothered with me. They wouldn't give me the time of day. They wanted nothing to do with hearing about problems. The dealer we purchased it from stepped up to the plate and took care of it but we sold it and bought a competitors bag. I found their customer service to be very poor. It could be that their products are good overall and I got a rare lemon. Maybe so but that does not excuse their poor customer service. For that attitude alone I will never buy another one of their products.

ScubaFriend:
Has anyone any experience with this new bc the Deep Outdoors Neutrino if you have let me know what you think of it as i am thinking of buying one
Not with this one in particular, but one of the Instructors at my dive shop got a DO bc because the shop was selling them. When I asked him about it he said he hated it. Seems he couldn't keep the weights in the pockets, they kept falling out.
