Bit confused why the thread title is deep diving, then links to a video of an advanced nitrox course, although I didn't see any students and nitrox isn't a deep diving gas.

Hey there,

Both divers in the video are the students and we dove to 140ft using a light nitrox as back gas and nitrox 50 for accelerated decompression. If 140ft is deep, well I guess this depends the diver. We did do a dive though that required 15min mandatory decompression with 50% Nitrox.

46mtrs - Blimey it must have been light, did they remember the dive :)

42mtrs actually, yes we did a detailed debriefing including all emergency drills. This is also the limit for deep air diving through us, in OPEN WATER. Past that or deeper then 30mtrs in the overhead we are using helium enriched breathing gases.

cheers
