Deep shipwreck explorer and author Michael Barnette may have discovered the Civil War blockade runner, the Black Joker located over 100 miles offshore in almost 300 feet of water. Join Michael, explorer Joe Citelli, and explorer / videographer Curt Bowen as they become the first divers to document this lost vessel since it sank in the middle 1800s.

The attached image didn't go anywhere, but I did find the Vimeo link in Shipwreckhunter's Facebook newsfeed: The Black Joker? Deep Shipwreck Discovery.

Awesome photography. Which camera?

Lionfish everywhere. :depressed:

good history, wish it would have covered more on the actual state of the wreck, and the diving involved. Hopefully they make another video once they learn more about the wreck site and what it holds...

We are returning to attempt to learn more about the wreck, but since its over 100 miles from shore and around 300 feet deep, logistics can be tough
