These regs are incredibly easy to self service. No reason not to learn how to do it yourself.

Talk like that might end up with me showing up in key largo.I need two evenings... just do it while you're vacationing here in the Keys!
There's no restraining order... yet.Talk like that might end up with me showing up in key largo.
The original draft of my post was prefaced with something like "As a new diver and new forum member, I'm half expecting to be told I don't know anything..." but I decided to leave that out and give ScubaBoard the benefit of the doubt. I actually did a lot of research, which is why I went with Deep 6. I consider it an investment both in terms of gear, and in terms of trying to shift an industry's paradigm. I know the o-ring thing isn't a big deal in itself. What it boils down to is that Deep 6 sounds like it's supposed to be founded on openness and directness, so it especially bugged me that I wasn't given all the info up front, and that I later found out about the issue through rumor. I think there's room for improvement there, and my post was meant to be constructive. That said, I do think it's good what Chris is offering to do for everyone who bought his regs. I don't really want to return my regs. What I really want is to start diving.WOW bud..... 0-25 dives, and less than a year certified......
I'd say you need to better understand your equipment, the industry, and your training a bit more before such a post.....
This one is nearly as good as the critics of SW over still selling a Pedrix when the Pedrix AI was "in the works"....

He can send them to me and I will swap him even for my HOG gear. As a HOG reg tech I know that it literally takes 30secs to swap the DIN post on a reg. And that's if I am drunk and it is on a Friday and I am using a #2 pencil for and allen wrench while heating up some nachos and petting my dogs.
