Hello Readers:

The next class in Advanced Decompression Physiology is November 23-24, 2013 on Catalina Island. Information can be found at the following site:

USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber

This class is a fund raiser for Karl Huggins and the chamber. It is a series of illustrated lectures and has been offered, with updates, since 1984 in several cities around the US.

I took the class back in 2009 and thought it was very worthwhile. It is a good chance to get out of the half the story mode, or fear mongering mode, that most scuba classes provide. The chamber and Wrigley are well worth supporting. Oh and you can see the Buffalo up close and personal!

Tracy,

Back in 2009 there were no dives which was disappointing given the location. You could probably get a dive in. I don't know about fills however. At night we trundled over to two harbors for Sierra Nevada.

Wish there was a Distance Learning version. The location is the only thing preventing my attendance.

+1 It could be available by way a of a PayPal donation. A webinar format would be ideal.
