It is often my favorite part of the dive as long as it isn't too cold (and sometimes it is).

Some places I dive the deco spots have plaenty to look at. Fish are freindlier when your still and I see more wildlife doing deco than any other time. When in OW like Lake Superior there isn't much to look at midwater. In that case I just enjoy the hang time. I enjoy just doing nothing for a while. I don't get much time to spend that way.

Are pretty cool.

One of those dive slates allows you to play hangman or connect the dots.....see how many flips you can do before you get dizzy....exchange masks....exchange fins....play with toypedo (if you don't miss it)...take down 2 cans and a taunt cord & play telephone

Just some thoughts

sing of course! All English rugby fans can at least do Swing Low and keep the rest entertained.....

Whilst we're on that subject - let's hope they do a bit better than the cricket team tomorrow and stuff the All Blacks!

When i was studying for exams i would copy notes to my slates and review them..

I have also made a grocery list on my slate.

Tic tac toe

use our slates to talk about the dive

Make a note if there is a part of the rig i want to modify to work better for me.

Its endless, heck 1/2 the time we just relax and do nothing but breathe and watch the fish.
