let me start by saying how much i love my duo, but tonight as i was switching the gas mixes the buttons stopped working then it went blank. thought it might be the battery but after swapping it out i got nadda. help please

Sorry to hear your DUO is giving you fits. If you will please email our service department at service@diverite.com, they will give you an RMA number and get the DUO here for us to test and evaluate.
