DC1200/1400 keeps resetting date/time

I have a DC1200 and a DC1400 and both of them keeps loosing the settings when I change the battery pack. It's annoying every time I change the battery on the boat and have to set the date and time, every time. Can someone helps with this? I couldn't find a solution to this issue on this forum, yet.

Unfortunately, there isn't a solution that I'm aware of. I had a DC1400 and had the same issue. Apparently, they have a volatile memory which causes it to reset everything once power is lost.

Thank @GreggS although the camera works well, this is very annoying. I will probably sell it and look for the DC2000 instead
