What to do when it is raining, and you are to congested to dive?

Why, you take your waterproof camera to the ZOO (St. Louis Zoo, to be exact).

Here are a few shots from the DC1000 in its case:

pretty nice pictures, S! Go get some u/w pics man :)

I got some Friday... we were going to go out again Sunday but I woke up in the middle of the night Saturday night with sinus congestion... that's no way to go diving...

Here's one underwater I shot Friday, July 3... since you asked :)

That pic was taken with about 2 meters vis :)

I am diving in a fresh water quarry, the best vis we have had all year is 3 meters. There are spots in that quarry where the vis is about 50 centimeters.

That looks like a long shot off into a tunnel, but in reality the opening at the back is about 1 meter behind. This is a "macro" shot, the fish is about 30 centimeters long.

Good pics. Like the quarry fish shot. I grew up in St. Louis and know the zoo from childhood days in the 50's into the 70's. Great place.

VERY NICE PICTURES at the zoo !! .....go underwater and share your shots with us !! :)
