Hi guys,

I'll be in Daytona Beach for xmas and new years. I'm not familiar with the area at all.

Can anyone recommend any dive sites accessible from shore?

Cheers!

The Daytona area: f
For 400 miles to the north and 115 miles to the south offers,
zilch
nada
squat
zip
nothing
in the way of shore dives.
Unless you like very shallow water with 3' of visibility.
On a good day.
typically it is less than 12" in the nearshore seawater up there.
Contact Scubaboard member "Sheeper" for current conditions in the Vero Beach area.
And as I understand it....
There will be NO shore diving in the "Zero Beach" area until May of 2016.

Chug
has never doved north of Jupiter in seawater.

If you are desperate, try Blue Spring or Alexander Spring.

Chugwump is so wrong! there is diving here in Vero. it's just in zero viz, with a high surf, and strong surge. lots of diving...just not much fun at the moment!

Dive the Blue Heron Bridge! it's kind of awesome; just check the tide schedule and dive the high tide window.

i'll be there the 28th
