Funny it is not common to see sharks other than nurse sharks in Cozumel. I have seen reef sharks a few times times but, a quitar fish once but that is about it. I am always on the wrong site when a hammerhead is sighted.Of course there is; blacktips, greyreef, hammerhead, thresher, whaleshark, white tips, zebra and even bowmouth guitarfish.
But never ever seen a Nurse shark in Philippines. Few times in Thailand though.

There is another way but need a bit of "self-scarify" for couple of years. There are a lot of places I would like to dive to see a different variety of sea life other than the Caribbean. I can't come close to what it cost to spent 3 weeks in Cozumel every year for other locations other than the Caribbean. Cozumel is just so convenient. Besides we like the island and the people. Maybe when we are both retired that can be an option. We are looking into it.
