Hello All!

I'm obviously new to this forum, and I am returning to diving after a 30-year absence. Going to re-certify as YMCAScuba is no longer in business and too many years have passed since my 100th dive. :shakehead: Looking at the Poseidon MK VI as my entry back into the depths; will check it out this Friday at our local dive shop here in Connecticut.

My primary motivation is a return to photography after a 20-year absence—never turn a hobby into a business when you're young; you'll learn to hate it. Have several Canon cameras, but will probably use my shiny new 5D MK III for underwater photography. (Also have a 7D, a 6D on pre-order, and a 60Da which is used for my other interest—astrophotography with my Meade LX800.)

Going to sign up for a liveaboard tour somewhere in the Pacific for next year. Does anyone have an operator they have tried? Any recommendations?

Looking forward to my time on this forum.

David Martin, Ph.D.
