Hello All!
I'm obviously new to this forum, and I am returning to diving after a 30-year absence. Going to re-certify as YMCAScuba is no longer in business and too many years have passed since my 100th dive.
Looking at the Poseidon MK VI as my entry back into the depths; will check it out this Friday at our local dive shop here in Connecticut.
My primary motivation is a return to photography after a 20-year absencenever turn a hobby into a business when you're young; you'll learn to hate it. Have several Canon cameras, but will probably use my shiny new 5D MK III for underwater photography. (Also have a 7D, a 6D on pre-order, and a 60Da which is used for my other interestastrophotography with my Meade LX800.)
Going to sign up for a liveaboard tour somewhere in the Pacific for next year. Does anyone have an operator they have tried? Any recommendations?
Looking forward to my time on this forum.
David Martin, Ph.D.
