I just stumbled on this as I was looking for dive shops in Santa Rosa and Albuquerque and thought I would share it with you.
The Davey Jones Locker Challenge is on Saturday February 19, 2011 at New Mexico Scuba Center in Alburquerque, NM. You will be given 45 minutes underwater (in a pool) to put together as much of a puzzle as you can. It sounds like trophies will be awarded to the winners. You can put together your own teams of 5 or they can place you on a team. $75 per person or $375 per team. Tanks and weights included.
Their goal is to raise $7,500 to support, train, equip and provide O/W Certification for Adaptive Divers (Divers with Disabilities).
