Divers Alert Network will exhibit at booth #1427 at the Diving Equipment and Marketing Associations (DEMA) trade show to be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Florida November 6- 9, 2013. At the show, DAN will introduce diver education programs and safety products that help divers of all levels prepare to dive smarter.
Throughout the show, DAN will showcase its leadership role in diver education by hosting a variety of informative seminars presented by DANs experienced team of doctors, researchers and medical experts. Held in room S230E, DANs speakers will present research developments and identify critical elements in dive safety through talks on topics that include evidence-based decompression, in-water recompression, measuring decompression stress, how hyperbaric treatment heals DCS, and more.
In addition to seminars geared for the dive professional, DAN will also offer specialized training sessions tailored to the educational needs of DAN Instructors and Instructor Trainers in room S230F. An open forum will also be moderated by DAN personnel that will allow DAN Instructors and Instructor Trainers to provide feedback and ask questions about programs and training requirements.
Collaborating with dive industry professionals is vital to DANs mission and it is an essential component to help DAN reach all segments of the diving community, said Bill Ziefle, President and CEO, Divers Alert Network. Working together with industry leaders, we can continue to make the sport safer for everyone.
