It's not a place it's a state of mind.

Please post when you plan something for next year. I would love to dive this but can't seem to find many that are.

I dove Dale Hollow about a month ago and it was about 10 feet vis. I didn't go below 23 feet and didn't need a wetsuit. The guy at the dive shop there said to come back in the fall when the vis was better because the boat traffic is down.

I am going down this weekend to look at a small houseboat for sale. If I buy it then I will be available for being a dive buddy almost any time. I am mostly interested in cleaning up some coves that have been littered by sloppy houseboat people. I am hoping that they dropped treasures as well as their litter. I need to pay for my underwater metal detector.

I dove Green River Lake about 3 weeks ago and it had about 4 feet vis. I found 2 screen doors, 2 full sheets of plywood, 3 folding camping chairs, 1 large boat bumper, D cell battery, zippo lighter, disposable lighter, bottle caps, TONS of cans, and the most valuable thing... a penny.

Whats the water temp like there Thanksgivingish?

Depending upon how deep you go it is going to be low 40's, pretty much all year round.
