anyone from/near/dive plymouth much? just got to the area and want to start running some good dives for my new club.

Anyone willing to let me have some marks or tell me about some decent wrecks would be my new bestest buddy:mean:

and i know about the JEL, its the only one i've done so far, nice but wont keep me entertained for long

Probably your best option would be just to meander along to deep blue and see what they suggest.
Never been to Plymouth before, but I've just booked a week there in May/June next summer, specifically to dive a couple of wrecks I've fancied doing for a while - should really have looked at a map first, cos I've only just realised how far Plymouth is from Aberdeen :(

hi Mike
I used to live in plymouth some years ago now. Don`t know if this`ll help much, but i`ve just bought a book from my local dive shop..`a divers guide...dive south devon`, there`s loads in the series. I bought them for when i get down to dive there this summer, and it`s a top buy!...too many wrecks to mention here. Any further info just PM me.
cheers
Rob

As Rob34 says get the Dive South Devon book, also the Cornwall one.

There are a couple of shore dives in the sound, I did Devils Point last Sunday. Must Must MUST be done at slack. And all diving in the sound, and some outside should be done with the permission of the Long Room (Queens Harbour Master) CH14 or 16 call 'Long Room' or 01752 663225 .

Wrecks; Elk 34m, Rosehill 32m, Persier 32m for a start, there are many hard boats operating from Mountbatten or Queen Annes Battery. I can recommend Storm (Rod Davies), Maid Maggie II and Furious.

Whats the new club?

Adrian
