I recently opened up my wife's storage and found she has a brand new, never opened or charged Dacor SV 900 SEASPRINT. It came w/ a charger but no instructions. I can't seem to open it (w/out damaging it!) and I need to know if the battery is still good (hold a charge). It's been in storage for probably close to 15 years so I have my doubt's . . . but I still need to crack this thing open. Could the seal's have melted and sealed it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I recently learned that Dacor has gone out of biz so they wont be of much help. Thanx!

Like he said, it is really an apollo rebranded dacor, so parts are still available. Apollo just stopped making them this year, but replacement parts will continue for at least a few years.
